Intersection, Cecilia Araneda’s feature film in development, was recently selected as one of 31 projects from across Canada to receive funding from Telefilm Canada’s Talent to Watch program.
Intersection positions Winnipeg as a Latin city, one of newcomers and refugees. It is set in Winnipeg, Argentina and Chile, and will feature a nearly 100% Latin cast
The script for Intersection was initially developed with the support of the Manitoba Arts Council. It later underwent further development as one of five Manitoba scripts selected for On Screen Manitoba’s pilot Feature Film Accelerator Program in 2018.
Intersection is expected to go into production in mid 2020.
