Mujer Artista was created in 2014 out of the need they identified to better support Latin women artists locally. The collective's first group show, Speaking in Tongues, was presented at aceartinc January/February 2017.
I'm thrilled to be working on Mujer Artista, a new time-limited initiative in Winnipeg to develop opportunities for local Latin women artists. I developed this initiative together with two other Winnipeg-based Latin women artists: Monica Martinez and Praba Pilar.
