Franci Duran and I led an Introduction for Phytograms Workshops for Mapuche Creators in the city of Temuco, Chile, on Jan 27, 2023.
I have been exchanging with and working in solidarity with Mapuche filmmakers and creatives for over a decade now, teaching workshops, engaging in curatorial research, serving on film and arts assessment panels and providing occasional mentorships. The workshop was part of this ongoing community work.
