I’m honoured that my film The Space Shuttle Challenger is winner of the international documentary competition at the 2019 edition of Shorts México in Mexico City.

This is the third international prize for The Space Shuttle Challenger, which was also the recipient of the Best Short prize at this human world: International Human Rights Film Festival (Austria) in 2018 and 3rd place in international biannual Norberto Griffa Prize (Argentina) for independent Latin American Film, also in 2018.

Through found footage, The Space Shuttle Challenger entwines the Challenger disaster, Guantanamo Bay, Chile’s coup d’état and the experience of being 16. It reflects on the personal impact of large events in world history and small moments of hope that survive.
